Day 8. So sleepy from work still. Short post coming your way. There wasn't much I did with these nails. I felt metallic nails kinda spoke for themselves haha. For these nails I painted them with a polish my parents bought for me. I love Acessorize for their accesories! Such nice things their, and for their polishes I already owned one, was so excited to try this. It's Acessorize Metalized Nails- Sapphire. It says Metalized One Coat and wow is it true. One coat and I had bottle colour, and such a shine!! Did get some tip wear but then again if you used a top coat could help, such a pretty polish you'd want to wear it.
Also I apologise these photos are woeful, I will have to retake these!! The lighting was so bad
On my accent nail I added Catrice Million Styles C04 Shake it! Flake it! I applied two coats of it. It has coppery red gold flakes in it. Lots of flakies too!
I'm sorry this post was so bad, I didn't want to miss another day D': Tomorrow will be better and super colourful! Rainbow nails :D So I'm gonna go sleep......

Is it all just black and white?
Day 7 and let me start at by saying I am so tired! I guess it's getting into a new routine but it's making me exhausted! Don't get me wrong, it is so much fun! I'm really enjoying it and the day absolutely flies by! Just tiring right now though haha.
Anyways lets get on with black and white. Shall I make my absolutely shocking nail polish confession? I do not own a black polish. Like I own black with glitters but no plain black... well I do have a matte black... but yeah no black. Black and white are such important polishes that you want as opaque as possible. I only got the perfect white Models Own Snow White like 3 weeks ago. I own like 170 polishes and still need a black ahaha!
So I started off with a base of Models Own and verrrry carefully, (did it about 4 times), cut out a shape with sellotape and placed it diagonaly down my nail. Then using my nail art pen I painted on it and took it off and voila! Nice zig zags!
Then on my accent nail I mixed my black and white bullions and gave my nails a DIY Caviar nail. Litwerally just painted my nail and put it into the bullions.
I really liked this one! The beautiful clean lines from the sellotapes is nice:) Hope you all like it!

Lilac is for me!
Day 6 is technically meant to be Violet nails but personally I don't think I own a violet... it's such a specific colour, every other day was broad! So I said nuh uh, I'm doing lilac nails. Being the silly goose I am I completely forgot to take a picture of this polish pre-shatter! The polish I am wearing under this is the discontinued Eyeko Lilac. I, so very happily, found this and Eyeko Chi Chi and Eyeko Coral nails in a 3 pack in TK Maxx! This was well after it had stopped selling on the website so I was absolutely chuffed with my find! The lilac applies so well, but since I've already used so much of it, really love it, I applied Models Own Alpine Snow underneath so I would not need two coats of it!
I know this look was kinda boring but I just have so many other looks planned, (e.g. delicate nails etc.), that kept overlapping with this one that I just went with this simple idea, I liked it anyways haha :D
Sorry for the belatedness of this, internship was busy and I slept all day when I came home yesterday! It was such fun!

Under the sea~
Day 5, blue!! I think this is my favorite day so far! For this I chose OPI- I don't give a Rotterdam, from the Holland Collection. This has to be one of my new favorite polishes! It's such a pretty grey blue with a silver shimmer in it. I love subtle shimmer polishes! For this look I put on three coats, I had good colour in two but couldn't help myself to do three haha.
Then with this blue I felt hmm under the sea~ It has that kinda sunny day water look I think XD So on my thumb is a happy little octopus, index finger there's an anchor, middle finger a seahorse, ring finger some seaweed, a rock and a starfish and for the pinkie some pink fish!
So which one is your favorite? I love the octopus :D This was sad to take off.... But we must move on! Haha :D So starting my internship officially tomorrow, wish me luck!

Seashells to get in the undersea theme!
My favorite seashell ever! I've had this for about 16 years XD Used to think it looked like a gun ahaha

Green with envy? no not really...
So Day 4, I'm sure you can notice day 3 never happened, I've always has a hate hate relationship with yellows, but I did try. Every time I put it on however it smudged, and I really didnt have time for smudges XD I was super busy with work then going to the cinema with some friends. On top of all that my ankle is still super sore after a week :'( Bumming me out.
We must truck on however with green. Green is a colour I love! I don't buy many greens but when I do, I use and love them! This made the green choice hard... So I decided on ombré!
The colours are, from lightest to darkest, Essence- 39 Lime Up, Essence- 79 Viva La Green, Tantrum Green from the Bold Candy Kit, OPI- Don't Mess With OPI and Essence- 54 Trust in Fashion.
Not the best transition but I love these colours together and it certainly is cheering me up. My favorite green of the lot is the Lime Up one! It's so pretty and bright. Hoping my ankle will get better soon, boo-urns to it haha.

Nail Challenge Day 2- Orange
So day 2! Orange was a limited choice seeing as I only own two but it was still some choice!
I went with the OPI which was my first ever orange and my first orange love! It's a gorgeous burnt orange that's just so shiny. It had lots of glass flecks through it, (kinda makes removal a bit more difficult then usual), but its just so pretty!
Sorry my ring finger looks weird, it broke so I have a tea bag on it....
Though this may not happen everyday I added nail art again and this is in honour of an amazing friend of mine! My friend Dee/ Faye from Arizona came to visit for a month to Ireland last year and it was amazing to see her :) Whilst here she told me this colour was a very popular colour in Phoenix and she asked me to paint her nails in this with cactuses. Well these nails are for her.
So that's orange day done! A very fun one and memorable. Onto yellow for tomorrow, hooray for happy colour!

Nail Challenge Day 1- Red
This is the challenge that I shall be taking on now for the next 31 days, testing my creativity, patience and long term dedication!! Here's hoping guys! All this will lead right up to my birthday haha:D
So because today was my first day of internship I wanted a red that could be fabulous but not too out there, at least until I sussed out everyone elses mani choices. I went with the lovely Nails Inc. Manchester, a deep red with a subtle gold shimmer in it. This gold is more noticable in the bottle then on the nail but it is still there. I'm usually not a very big RED fan, usually I just wear it for the weekend job but I actually really like this. It really suits this gloomy weather we have haha.
So this morning was just a short introduction so when I came home it was time to make red a whole lot cooler.... With a packet of bullions in my hand, and absolutely no experience in the area I set to work and with these....
I turned my red nails into these!

So yep strawberries, I love strawberry nails. The bullions (or microbeads or caviar look-a-likes) just added something new to this look for me and gave me a great chance to be creative! I know it probably doesn't look the best but I love this look! Hope you guys do too :)
So Day 1 done! Make sure to check back to see my hopefully successful progress.
